Axis Studios joined up with Seascape to create the official cinematic trailer for Blocklords, the highly anticipated strategy game.

The new online multiplayer strategy game is an exciting mix of the future and the past. Though set in the medieval era, it is a thoroughly modern gaming experience using cryptocurrency and NFT protocols as the foundation for in-game crafting, origination and trading in a mediaeval metaverse.

Led by Director Jon Yeo, Axis brought a striking vision to the trailer. Vibrant, colourful, gritty and realistic, it breathes fresh life into the typically washed-out medieval genre. Heightening the arresting visuals, mocap was used, honing in on facial performance to tell the stories in a captivating way.
