Pipeline & RND Department Manager
Matt’s interest in the creative industries began from a young age, when he noticed the incredible ways stories and art impact people’s lives. After graduating with a degree from AUT University in New Zealand where he studied Communications, majoring in television, Matt began his career as an Editor and VFX Artist, while also working as a professional actor and voice-over artist.
He then landed a role as a Digital Producer in Auckland before moving to London, leading innovative projects with renowned brands and organisations including Jaguar Landrover, Save The Children and Burberry.
Matt joined Axis in 2018 as our R&D project manager, lending his skills in digital innovation for clients such as Wizards of the Coast, Tencent and Sky Productions.
In his role as Pipeline & RND Department Manager, Matt is responsible for growing and developing the team and encouraging intelligent solutions, from the creation of new tools to cutting-edge cloud rendering. Improving processes and workflows across departments and tackling key technological challenges, Matt plays a crucial role in supporting our team to be as creative as possible.
