Led by VFX supervisor Howard Jones, Axis Studios oversaw the filming and VFX shots across series 11 of Baby Cow’s Red Dwarf.
Axis worked through onset supervision on all pre-recordings to the final stages of delivery. The total VFX project lasted nine months with 325 shots completed – the team worked on VFX planning and compositing of the classic model shots of Starbug and Red Dwarf. The studio also created a broad range of VFX for the series, including blowing up a space station.
