Duality is one of Axis' most ambitious stylized collaborations with Riot Games for the first-person hero shooter, Valorant. Working shoulder to shoulder, the talented team at Axis and the creative team at Riot crafted storylines and helped shape and conceptualise some of the environment we see in the short.

Following the graphic and dynamic pieces that preceded, we dived into the vibrant world of Valorant, with bold FX and our 3D stylized look, bringing the game to life and exploring the lore. For this short film, the team broke the ceiling and explored even more graphic and spectacular FX - a fundamental aspect of the piece. Allowing the camera to move inside of the illustrative environment brought them to life in 3D, preserving the identity of the style whilst allowing the camera to follow the action.
